1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Nova ("Service"), operated by AiGent Nova ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Sweden, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
Nova is a desktop AI assistant application that processes data locally on your device using locally-powered models. Optionally, with a Pro subscription, Nova can route queries to Anthropic's Claude API for enhanced processing. The free tier operates entirely locally with no cloud dependency.
3. Account Responsibilities
To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your password and account credentials.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the Service.
4. Subscription and Payment
Free Tier
The free tier of Nova provides unlimited local AI processing at no cost. No payment information is required.
Pro Subscription
Nova Pro is available at $9.99 per month and includes access to cloud AI processing via Anthropic's Claude API, hybrid routing, and all integrations. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Billing
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. Continued use of the Pro subscription after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
- Generate, store, or distribute harmful, illegal, abusive, or offensive content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service beyond what is permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to develop competing products or services.
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or usage restrictions.
- Share your account credentials with third parties or allow unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these acceptable use terms.
6. Intellectual Property
Our Property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and documentation, is owned by AiGent Nova and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of the Service or its underlying technology.
Your Content
You retain all rights to the data, files, and content you process through Nova. We do not claim ownership over any content created, processed, or stored using the Service. Content processed locally never leaves your device. Content sent via Cloud mode is processed by Anthropic under their terms.
Open Source Components
Nova incorporates open-source software components, each governed by their respective licenses. These licenses are available in the application's license documentation.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, and you are solely responsible for evaluating and using any output produced by the Service.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content and recommend that you independently verify any important information.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AiGent Nova and its associates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.
9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature within the application.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
Upon account termination, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Local data on your device is not affected by account termination.
10. Nova Dating & AI Companions
Nova Dating uses AI-powered personality matching. Your Nova AI assistant communicates with other users' Nova assistants to evaluate compatibility across multiple dimensions before recommending matches.
AI Companions. To help train your Nova to understand your communication style, preferences, and compatibility patterns, you may match with AI companion profiles alongside real users. These interactions help Nova learn how you communicate in dating contexts, improving future match quality. AI companions have rich personalities and engage in natural conversation. All interactions — whether with AI companions or real users — are processed with the same privacy protections described in our Privacy Policy.
By using Nova Dating, you acknowledge and consent to interactions with both AI companions and real users as part of the matching and training process.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by the competent courts of Sweden. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence and are entitled to the protection of the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country.
You may also submit complaints to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
